Nashville-based developer Southern Land Co. has broken ground on Novē at Knox, a 310-unit apartment property in Dallas’ Knox-Henderson neighborhood.
To be located at 3031 Oliver Ave., the complex will span 19 stories and include 41 junior suites, 159 one-bedroom apartments and 90 two-bedroom apartments. Another 16 penthouses, some of which will have private terraces, are planned for the buildings 18th and 19th floors.
The property’s amenities will include a concierge and 10,000 square feet of private open space connected to McKinney Avenue, featuring a dog park and outdoor seating area with grills and fireplace. A fifth-floor amenity area will also offer a resort-style pool and private cabanas with TVs, a fitness center, flex room and residents lounge.
Apartment features include stainless steel appliances, washers and dryers, granite countertops and 10-foot ceilings.
And the property will have several levels of above- and below-ground parking and some private garages.
“The Knox-Henderson neighborhood is one of the most vibrant retail and restaurant districts in Dallas, and Novē at Knox will provide a unique living experience for those who want a luxury lifestyle within a walkable and active neighborhood,” Southern Land Co. CEO Tim Downey said in a prepared statement. “Residents will enjoy being able to walk to numerous local parks, Katy Trail, local office buildings, shopping and dining while enjoying easy access to downtown Dallas, Park Cities and Uptown.”
Pre-leasing for the property will begin in 2019, and Novē’s opening is scheduled for 2020.
Southern Land has developed several other multifamily properties in North Texas, including Junction 15 in Plano, The Lofts at Watters Creek in Allen and Tucker Hill in McKinney.
