New Grapevine mixed-use project will include shopping and two apartment communities

Developer Billingsley Co. – whose Cypress Waters community has grown to one of North Texas most successful office and apartment projects – is headed to Grapevine with a new mixed-use development.

Billingsley has received approval from Grapevine’s city council to build a 30-acre retail and apartment project near Grapevine Mills Mall.

The project – between the mall and Kubota Tractor’s new North American headquarters campus – is at 3570 and 3580 North Grapevine Mills Boulevard.

The development will include renovation of the existing Grapevine Mills Crossing shopping center.

Four people were taken to local hospitals after a vehicle crashed into a house in Hurst and caused it to burst into flames.

April 07–HURST — Four people were taken to local hospitals after a vehicle crashed into a house in Hurst and caused it to burst into flames.

A husband and wife, who was listed in critical condition, were taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, according to Kara McKinney, a city of Hurst spokeswoman.

Their son was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB Hospital, McKinney said. Surveillance video captured footage of the crash, according to our media partners at WFAA.
